What is Quipp?

Different show formats on Quipp

• Quipp Classic - This is a classic game where you have to answer 10 questions in a row and has 10 seconds to answer for each question. If you manage to do that successfully, you will win part of the jackpot for the show (EUR 1,000 per show). Usually aired in the evening.

• Quippie - Shorter version of Quipp Classic, usually aired at lunch. Collect up to EUR 500 in the lunch break with only 7 general knowledge questions!

• Quipp "Galileo Special" - Quipp Galileo Show is a collaborative effort between the teams of Quipp and Galileo and it brings interactivity with the users on the next level. The quiz show is running in the app - nothing extraordinary here, but the questions, answers and results are also streamed on the TV show simultaneously with the app, thus allowing users to see the content both on the app and on their TV sets.

• Themed shows - From Moviemania, Celebrity boom to Beat the music or Kicker show - those are various shows based on classic Quipp game, but we test your knowledge in different arias of life.

• HySpeed - At HYSPEED you have to be quick! We challenge you: 20 questions in 5 seconds each.

• PicsClips - Maximum attention is required in this game show - you have to look at a picture and pay attention and later give a correct answer regarding the image.

Quipp main features

Live show - A format distinguished by a specific concept, rules or theme (e.g. Standard evening Quipp, Quippie, Kicker, Check the People). It is consisted of:

• Events - iterations within the show, e.g. this evening's Quipp;

• LS - Live streaming is when a live event is broadcast in real-time over the internet;

• Trivia questions - Questions that have wrong/right answers. The questions have only one correct answer, difficulty level, category (e.g. Politics, Arts);

• Feedback questions - These questions have no right or wrong answer, they are used to collect feedback from the users (as an example, favourite host for the week or what the topic should be for next week's event).

Quipp Now - Quipp Now represents the option to play quizzes and earn Quipp Points even if there's no live show running. It can be described as an on-demand Quipp show BUT:

• does not have any video or moderator;

• the user get's the questions instantly and has 10 seconds to answer.

Quipp for Fun mode - special game mode allowing the user to keep playing in the live show after they have dropped out of the game (answered questions wrongly or didn't answer at all and no extra live was used in time). QPs are still awarded for the correctly answered questions from this point on but the user is no longer able to win the jackpot.

Store - the Quipp Shop is an area within the app, where users can get benefits, buy or exchange extra lives. Furthermore, there's an overview about actual partner offers, that usually consist of promo-code or cross-team ads.

Extra live - Can be used by the user to continue playing even if they got a question wrong (in which case the extra live used is spent). Depending on the configuration, some questions allow the usage of extra lives, others don't.

Quipp points - The virtual currency used in Quipp, gained by the users either via gamification (Live Shows/Quipp Now) or promotions and can be exchanged for items (currently only Extra lives) in the shop.

Ranking - It is a sorted listing of the top users, with the user viewing the page being always listed on top, regardless of the number of points/EUR they have.

There are two filters allowing the user to choose from:

• Current week OR Global ranking (no time period specified, ranking by the total amount of QP/money);

• The user's friends OR All users.

Additionally, the users can be ordered by either the amount of QPs or EUR.

Profile - the User account profile contains general information and settings, such as:

• Username and Avatar;

• Payout via Paypal;

• Push Notifications;

• Links to FAQs and Contact;

• Legal Pages and Tracking;

• Logout.
